At ThriveAbility Community Connections, we respect the privacy of our members, prospective members, families and website visitors. Personal information provided to us is collected only for legitimate program, communication and organizational purposes.

We may collect information you voluntarily provide through our website, Contact Form or Intake Form, including:

  • Information about a prospective member 
  • Disability, diagnosis and support needs 
  • Behavioural, accessibility, dietary or medical information 
  • IEPs or other documents voluntarily provided 
  • Information related to inquiries, student placements, volunteering or partnerships 

We only request information that is relevant to understanding your inquiry or determining whether ThriveAbility can appropriately support a prospective member.


Intake Form & Confidential Information

Information submitted through our Membership Interest & Meeting Request Form is treated as confidential.

Medical, disability, diagnosis, behavioural, personal-care, accessibility and other sensitive information provided through the intake process is used only to help our team understand the prospective member's needs, assess program suitability and support safe participation.

We do not sell or use this sensitive information for advertising purposes, and we do not share it with Meta, social media platforms or unrelated third parties.

Information may only be disclosed where necessary for legitimate program operations, with appropriate consent, or where required by law.


How We Use Your Information

Information collected by ThriveAbility may be used to:

  • Respond to inquiries 
  • Review membership requests 
  • Determine program suitability 
  • Arrange meetings, tours and trial days 
  • Communicate with members and families 
  • Administer our programs and services

Sensitive information submitted through our intake process is not used for Meta advertising or intentionally shared with Meta for advertising purposes.
