At the heart of our journey is a beloved family member, now 27, who embraces life with Autism. His experiences have revealed gaps in systems, communities, and day programs, shaping our mission to foster growth, empowerment, and independence at ThriveAbility. Navigating a world of mismatched programs, his gentle nature often placed him in ill-fitting situations—sometimes exceeding expectations, other times held back by a lack of person-centered learning and understanding of his unique strengths.
At ThriveAbility Community Connections, we are dedicated to seamless, person-centered learning and support—whether in programs or at home. From focus challenges, like those our son faced, to other obstacles, we create personalized strategies that drive growth & excellence. We replace boredom with engaging activities that build skills and inspire progress. Every challenge is met together, fostering an environment where participants thrive and become their best selves.
Not Just a day program...
We blend fun, friendship, and adventure with job training, hands-on work experience, academics, and life skills. Immersed in the community, participants build new skills while gaining real-world experience—starting in our in-house café and expanding to businesses throughout our currated network.
