Three times a year, ThriveAbility Café comes to life—a vibrant, hands-on event where our members take center stage, running every aspect of a fully operational café. From washing dishes to serving tables, crafting specialty coffees, greeting guests, and even managing event logistics, each participant rotates through key roles, gaining invaluable real-world experience.
ThriveAbility members train cross-functionally while preparing for this exciting event. They collaborate to design the menu, plan the event, invite guests, and even organize art and craft sales. Along the way, they develop essential job skills—teamwork, leadership, customer service, and problem-solving—all in a supportive, dynamic environment where a team works together toward a common goal.
